I’m almost to tired to write this… started out this morning running over to JAJAST’s house to explain the mysteries of gsak – talk about the blind leading the blind lol. Halfway to his house, i get a text from the king requesting my presence at his house for assistance. As majikal a ninja mom as I am, I CANNOT be in two places at once. So I grabbed the king, and brought him with me to Jajast’s house forever known now as puppy central. We got gsak working for Steve, convinced Hydra that now was a great time to go caching, loaded up Spike the minivan and away we went. Detour 1 – stop at the store for snacks. Detour 2 stop at Hydra’s house to show HIM how to use gsak and grab his gps. Okay NOW we’re ready to go. Man it was a busy day and we hadn’t even found a single cache yet.
Anyhow…back to the adventure – first couple of finds – no problem at all we came we saw we cached. Hydra has a kick ass oregon gps like the King and Mrs. Britpitt and he’s working on honing his geoskills – but all was well. THEN it happened – I took one little leap over a brook and my stupid knee decided that it really wanted no part in allowing me to remain in an upright position and bam, down i went. But did that stop us caching for the day – heck no. Jajast, The King and Hydra just dragged my limping, broken, battered body along behind them.
All and all, we found 12 caches ST of Jajast and The King have effectively cleared the Sandown Town Forest. I however haven’t and I will be back.
Sadly though, St and I and Mrs. Britpitt were SUPPOSED to go caching tomorrow, but the fact that I can’t really WALK right now. That’s really putting a damper on our plans to cache together every monday. Hopefully we can start next week when i’m NOT as broken. Feel free to send sympathy c/o 2ninjasandmom at gmail dot com lol
