Today – Steve and Jason of JaJaSt and I went a caching – it was my first caching adventure in my new BOOTS and woo hoo. I am a happy camper 
I have nice dry toesies and i didn’t slip in any of the mud and muck – woot woot. And can I just say – Lobster Roll – possibly the best, funniest cache EVER…must remember to nominate that at NH geocachers. That particular find made me smile all day long
We started out with a place for new caches – Steve already had that one but no biggie and from there, we did Lobster Roll – OMG everyone should do this cache. After that, we headed down to Salem Town Forest and did six of them there, and we saw a snake and some frogs and a turtle and lots of chimpmunks – it was a fun fun time. No DNF’s and all the finds were pretty straightforward which was pretty cool. Then, Jason needed to head home to do the friend thing, so we dropped him off and ran back down to the Winham, Salem line so I could grab the last two on the rail trail. I’d tried to do SENHRR44 last summer when out caching with the kenpo kid aka Zach but we had the wrong info and couldn’t find it. Today, SUCCESS grabbed that, along with Johnny Monkey. Have to say, though as a word of warning, we parked at the end of the trail in the parking lot where the deli and bike shop are and we were told they weren’t allowing people to use the parking lot to access the trail. Seems a bunch of hikers came in during lunch our – their busy time – and tied up 5 spaces for a few hours. Since we were there late in the afternoon, though, they decided to allow us to use the parking lot. So don’t be parking there during business hours. On our way home, Steve was like pull in here and I grabbed 50 state geocache – nevada. You know, I lived here a large portion of my life and I never ever explored that particular area…it’s beautiful.
So all in all, a great day – fun time spent with great people and kick ass caching boots
